The Penn Kidder Campus school nurse is Mrs. Mary Louise Lauer. In August 2005 Mrs. Lauer started working at Penn Kidder Campus as an instructional aide and substitute nurse. In October 2011 Mrs. Lauer was hired as the full time nurse at Penn Kidder Campus where she cares for students from Pre-K through 8th grade.
Mrs. Lauer received her R.N. diploma from Northampton Community College in December 1993 and passed her state boards in April 1994 which allowed her to work in the state of Pennsylvania as a registered nurse. She is continuing her education and is 12 credits away from receiving her Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing.
Mrs. Lauer is a member of the Carbon County School Nurses Association and the Penn Kidder PTA. She also serves on the Jim Thorpe Area School Districts Wellness Council.
